In addition to his many years of mentorship, scholarship, and teaching at Gettysburg College, Prof. Mott was integral to key initiatives on campus, including leading the Task Force on Public Affairs and Public Service as part of the College’s Commission on the Future. That work, completed in 1998, laid the groundwork for the integration of what was then called the Eisenhower World Affairs Institute with the College to become The Eisenhower Institute at Gettysburg College.
The Institute is committed to honoring Prof. Mott’s legacy by ensuring access for students who are interested in participating in the Institute’s expert programs. Currently, students pay a modest fee to participate in domestic expert programs like Inside Politics and Women in Leadership, and international expert programs like Inside the Middle East that incorporate global travel. Your gift to the Institute will enhance and strengthen the resources for these expert program initiatives.
