Grecia Patino ‘19 is an Economics major and Peace and Justice Studies minor from Watsonville, CA.

This past spring, she studied abroad at the American University in Cairo, Egypt, where she was able to expand on her Arabic language skills. Her first year in Gettysburg, she joined the Women’s Rugby team and became a member of the Gettysburg African Student Association (GASA). She has since Fall 2017 been an executive member of the GASA.  She is also a member of the Latin American Student Association and a member of the Gettysburg News Network. Additionally, she spends her time volunteering in the Painted Turtle Farm, Campus Kitchen, and the SCCAP Shelter. As a junior she joined the Siegfried Career Development Fellowship Program where she became a fellow. On weekend nights you will see her working in the Servo Express truck.

During Summer 2018 she spent her time interning at a local news-talk radio station as a sales and marketing intern. She also interned at Digital NEST a non-profit organization that provides free courses and access to technology to the youth.

After graduation, Grecia plans to take some time to travel and spend time with her family before entering graduate school.
