Olivia Fischer '19 is a Political Science and Economics double major from Southington, Connecticut.
She is a member of three national honor societies: Pi Sigma Alpha, the National Political Science Honor Society, Omicron Delta Epsilon, the Economics Honor Society, and Pi Lambda Sigma, a Management, Economics and Political Science honor society. She has also served as a Peer Learning Associate for Political Science Research Methods and is conducting honors research within the Economics department.
Olivia spent the summer of 2018 interning for Bradley, Foster & Sargent, Inc., a investment advisory firm in Hartford, CT.
Outside of academics, Olivia serves as the President of Order of Omega, an organization for those achieving high standards of leadership within and beyond Greek organizations. She is a member of Alpha Omicron Pi and assists in Panhellenic Recruitment as a recruitment counselor. She also works as a Program Coordinator for Big Brothers Big Sisters through the Center for Public Service.
Olivia plans to attend law school after graduation, possibly pursuing both a JD and an MBA through a dual degree program. She hopes to ultimately work in policy consulting.
